Good day. A ridge of HIGH PRESSURE currently extends w'ward over the n'rn Caribbean. This ridge will remain in place over the next several days. A trough of LOW PRESSURE currently extends from South America, n'ward over the s'rn Caribbean. This trough will also remain in place over the next several days. On the 20th this trough will being to slowly broaden n'ward as the aforementioned ridge weakens. Scattered showers/squalls in the region are associated with this trough and are not organized. Early next week a strong TROPICAL WAVE will move w'ward toward the Leeward Islands. We will closely monitor this TROPICAL WAVE for signs of development and keep you well advised.
